Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient-centered nursing care as an LPN on the unit
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately within scope
• Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and multidisciplinary staff to support care plans
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and unit procedures to keep flow smooth
• Support patient education and comfort, communicating clearly with families

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact/reciprocal licensure as applicable)
• Prior LPN experience preferred; new grads who meet licensure requirements encouraged to apply
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willingness to obtain promptly
• Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Clear communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Comfort with electronic medical records and basic unit equipment
