Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional status and develop individualized treatment plans to restore movement and reduce pain
• Implement therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques to improve mobility and independence
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Monitor and modify treatment plans based on patient response and clinical judgment
• Maintain safety and compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington state or eligible for licensure
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MPT, or equivalent)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Clinical experience in physical therapy preferred; travel experience is a plus
• Strong documentation and patient communication skills
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, or Master's/Bachelor's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in assessment and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Skilled in gait training, balance training, and manual therapy techniques
• Comfortable with inpatient and outpatient rehab workflows
• Familiarity with EMR documentation and productivity expectations
• Excellent clinical reasoning, time management, and team collaboration skills
• Patient-centered communication and education techniques
