Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, direct patient care including taking vitals and assisting with exams
- Prepare patients and exam rooms to keep clinic flow efficient and comfortable
- Document patient encounters accurately in the medical record
- Assist providers with procedures and clinical tasks to support quality care
- Coordinate patient check-in/check-out and handle basic administrative duties
- Communicate clearly with patients and the care team to ensure safe, seamless care
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent MA classification
- Comfortable working Monday through Friday on-site at the assigned facility
- Willingness to complete the two-week training program as part of onboarding
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous MA experience preferred but enthusiastic new grads are welcome to apply
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification or completion of an MA program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Vital signs measurement and basic clinical assessments
- Patient preparation and clinical support during exams
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Professional patient communication and teamwork
