Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy to adults in a secure correctional setting
- Conduct risk assessments, crisis interventions, and safety planning as needed
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress in clear, timely clinical notes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including custody staff, nursing, and social services to support patient care
- Participate in staff consultation, case conferences, and training to improve clinical outcomes
- Maintain professional and ethical standards while adapting interventions to a correctional environment
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychologist (or active/eligible for California licensure) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) applicants welcome
- Experience in mental health assessment and therapy with adults; correctional or forensic experience is a strong plus
- Ability to complete required orientation and comply with facility security and documentation procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) preferred for Psychologist roles
- Master’s degree required for LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW clinicians
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and individual/group therapy
- Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT and trauma-informed care
- Crisis intervention and risk assessment expertise
- Comfortable with thorough clinical documentation and electronic health record use
- Cultural competence and the ability to work effectively in diverse settings
