Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and deliver evidence-based individual therapy
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization when urgent needs arise
- Develop treatment plans and document progress in clear, professional notes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Facilitate group therapy and psychoeducational sessions when indicated
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) — CA licensure preferred
- Active license in good standing and eligible to work in California
- Experience in mental health assessment, therapy, and crisis management
- Comfort working in a correctional or secure facility environment is a plus
- Strong documentation skills and ability to work collaboratively
Education
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field (required for LMFT/LCSW/LPCC licensure)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapies
- Skilled in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Familiarity with documentation standards and electronic health records
- Culturally competent and trauma-informed clinical approach
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
