Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for patients in the psychiatric program
- Deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions that support mental health and rehabilitation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Document clinical findings and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide crisis assessment and intervention as needed to ensure patient and staff safety
- Participate in case reviews and contribute to program improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychologist (PSYL) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing
- Experience working in mental health or psychiatric program settings; correctional experience is a strong plus
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to pass facility-required screenings and follow institutional policies
Education
- Doctoral degree in Psychology preferred for Psychologist roles; Master of Social Work for LCSW candidates acceptable
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical knowledge of mental health disorders and psychotherapeutic approaches
- Familiarity with psychiatric program workflows and documentation standards
- Crisis intervention and risk assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Culturally competent, patient-centered care approach
