Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group mental health assessments and evidence-based therapy to adults in a substance use treatment setting
• Develop and document treatment plans that promote recovery and measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with custodial and clinical staff to coordinate care and maintain safety
• Deliver crisis intervention and risk assessment when needed, keeping patient welfare front and center
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute clinical insights to improve programming
• Maintain timely, thorough documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current Psychologist (PSYL) license; LMFT or LPCC candidates also encouraged as listed
• Active and valid licensure consistent with the credential listed in the order
• Experience working in mental health, substance use, or related behavioral health settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to work Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; orientation timing to be announced

Education

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology for Psychologist roles; or
• Master's degree in relevant field for LMFT or LPCC applicants

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and diagnosis across a range of mental health conditions
• Individual and group therapy skills, with an emphasis on substance use treatment approaches
• Crisis intervention and risk management
• Clear, professional documentation and treatment planning
• Collaborative teamwork and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
