Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with substance use and co-occurring disorders
- Lead individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure continuity
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and treatment progress notes
- Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and treatment planning meetings
- Support a therapeutic, respectful environment that fosters patient recovery and dignity
Qualifications
- Active PSYL, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent licensed psychologist credential (California licensing preferred)
- Experience working in mental health settings; substance abuse treatment experience strongly valued
- Comfort with conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating groups
- Strong clinical documentation skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to complete facility orientation and comply with facility policies

- Clinical assessment and diagnostic formulation
- Evidence-based psychotherapy modalities for adults with substance use disorders
- Group therapy facilitation and individual counseling
- Familiarity with behavioral health documentation standards
- Crisis intervention and risk assessment
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
