Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for individuals with mental health and substance use needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based psychotherapy
- Provide individual and group therapy focused on recovery, relapse prevention, and coping skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support continuity
- Document clinical encounters accurately and in a timely manner to meet facility standards
- Participate in staff meetings, treatment planning, and case consultation to improve outcomes
- Support a safe, therapeutic environment and model professional, ethical practice
Qualifications
- Valid California licensure as a Psychologist, or licensure as a LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW
- Experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment settings
- Proven ability to provide psychotherapy and clinical assessment
- Comfort working Monday-Thursday daytime hours (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Strong documentation skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field (as required by your licensure)

- Clinical assessment and diagnostic formulation

- Substance abuse treatment approaches and relapse prevention
- Treatment planning and progress monitoring
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Clear clinical documentation and professional communication
