Shift Type: Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day). Typical client hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Note: one-week training will be 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments to inform individualized care
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote recovery and resilience
- Provide individual and group therapy using trauma-informed and person-centered approaches
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure continuity
- Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the facility record system
- Respond to crises and provide risk assessments and safety planning as needed
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Psychologist license, or LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW license valid for practice in California
- Experience working in mental health and substance abuse treatment settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Ability to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions with diverse populations
- Good documentation skills and comfort using electronic medical records
- Professional demeanor, good communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a team
Education
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) required for licensed Psychologist roles
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy required for LMFT/LPCC/LCSW clinicians
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical knowledge of mental health diagnoses and substance use disorders
- Skilled in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention
- Competence in crisis intervention and risk assessment
- Strong case formulation and treatment planning abilities
- Cultural humility and the ability to engage patients from diverse backgrounds
- Good time management to balance therapy, documentation, and team collaboration
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and colleagues
- Familiarity with confidentiality, HIPAA, and facility compliance requirements
