Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients' functional abilities and create individualized occupational therapy plans
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment interventions to improve independence in ADLs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve patient-centered goals
- Document progress and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, home modifications, and equipment use
- Monitor and modify treatment plans based on patient response and changing needs
- Advocate for patients to ensure safe transitions of care and optimal rehabilitation outcomes
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in California (OTR/L)
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master's or OTD preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred, especially in rehabilitation or post-acute care
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation skills, and teamwork mindset
- Comfort with floating to nearby locations (weekend float to Bellaken as needed)
Education
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or entry-level OTD from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ADL and IADL assessment and training
- Experience with therapeutic modalities, adaptive equipment, and splinting techniques
- Proficient with electronic medical records and timely documentation
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing, PT, SLP, and case management
