Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessment and diagnosis for patients in a psychiatric program
- Deliver individual and group therapy interventions tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement treatment plans
- Conduct risk assessments and apply evidence-based crisis intervention strategies
- Document clinical encounters clearly and timely in the patient record
- Advocate for patient-centered care and participate in program improvement activities
- Supervise or mentor trainees and contribute to professional development initiatives
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) preferred
- Licensed Psychologist in California or eligible for state licensure
- Experience in mental health or psychiatric program settings, ideally with adult populations
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and psychotherapy skills
- Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team and handling crisis situations
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification if required by facility policies
Education
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) is preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in psychological testing, assessment, and evidence-based interventions
- Strong clinical documentation and case formulation abilities
- Experience with behavioral health treatment planning and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and cultural competence
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical workflows
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize patient safety
