Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapy and guide patients through therapeutic exercises to improve function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility strategies
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold facility standards of care

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Maryland or compact-state eligibility
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced rehab environment with diverse patient needs
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Travel/contract experience and outpatient/rehab background are a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise, gait training and modalities
• Proficient documentation and clinical reasoning skills
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers clearly and compassionately
• Time management and caseload prioritization for consistent, high-quality care
• Familiarity with rehab equipment and safety protocols
