Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist dentists chairside with clinical procedures to deliver safe, efficient care
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, compliant operatory
- Take and process dental radiographs as permitted by your training and license
- Document patient care accurately and maintain clear, professional records
- Support patient education and communication — help patients feel informed and at ease
- Collaborate with the dental team and facility staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license — California preferred
- Comfortable working Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM with a 30-minute meal break
- Two weeks available for orientation as provided by the facility
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Previous dental assisting experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent training
Knowledge & Skills
- Chairside assisting techniques and infection control best practices
- Familiarity with dental instrument setup and sterilization workflows
- Basic knowledge of dental radiography (as allowed by your certification)
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain accurate records
