Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents
• Support the nursing team by taking and documenting vital signs and resident observations
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
• Communicate resident needs and changes promptly to nursing staff and leadership
• Maintain clean, safe resident environments by following infection control and safety protocols
• Document care accurately and timely in patient charts to support continuity of care
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire (preferred)
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Comfortable working as part of a fast-paced long-term care team
• Dependable, compassionate, and attentive to resident needs

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic nursing care
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and observing changes in condition
• Good communication skills for working with residents, families, and nursing staff
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safe resident handling
• Reliable documentation and time-management skills
