Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve daily living and mobility
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create holistic care plans
- Document progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
- Educate patients and families to maximize independence and safe return to home
- Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient and setting
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered culture that prioritizes outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist license (OTR or state OT license) or ability to obtain Washington licensure
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
- Comfortable working in a rehabilitation/contract facility setting
- Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Entry-level Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program preferred
- Bachelor's degree acceptable if paired with appropriate OT credentials
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ADL/IADL assessment and functional mobility interventions
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care effectively
- time management and prioritization in a fast-paced rehab environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
