Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy plans
• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve daily living and mobility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create holistic care plans
• Document progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and families to maximize independence and safe return to home
• Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient and setting
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered culture that prioritizes outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license (OTR or state OT license) or ability to obtain Washington licensure
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Comfortable working in a rehabilitation/contract facility setting
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Entry-level Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program preferred
• Bachelor's degree acceptable if paired with appropriate OT credentials

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADL/IADL assessment and functional mobility interventions
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care effectively
• time management and prioritization in a fast-paced rehab environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
