Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional mobility and develop individualized PT treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on interventions and therapeutic exercises to improve strength, balance, and mobility
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the facility electronic record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members to coordinate care goals
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safe discharge plans
• Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment to maximize patient independence and safety
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and professional practice standards

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington state (required)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in inpatient or outpatient rehab preferred, but motivated new grads are welcome
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a rehab team

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
• Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy or related degree acceptable where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and mobility strategies
• Comfortable using common rehab equipment and assistive devices
• Familiarity with documentation standards and electronic medical records
• Ability to prioritize caseload and manage time efficiently
• Patient-centered approach with strong teaching and motivational skills
