Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on your unit
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patients, assess changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Document patient care and observations clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license — ability to practice in New Mexico required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or Registered Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation
• Basic wound care and IV/line management
• Familiarity with electronic charting and clinical documentation
• Prioritization, time management, and teamwork in fast-paced settings
