Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during overnight hours
• Administer medications, document accurately, and follow physician orders
• Monitor patient status and escalate concerns promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe transitions of care
• Maintain accurate and timely charting and complete shift handoffs
• Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and advocacy

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (eligible to work in New Mexico)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications a plus
• Clinical experience in acute or rehab care preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts and manage prioritized patient needs
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program (diploma, certificate, ADN or BSN depending on license)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical judgment for overnight patient care
• Medication administration and IV/line familiarity
• Proficient documentation and electronic charting skills
• Ability to triage, escalate, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
