Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, positioning, bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Support the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
• Contribute to a clean, safe environment by following infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Comfortable working the overnight 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shift
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar preferred but new CNAs are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and ADL assistance
• Familiarity with patient safety and infection control principles
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Teamwork mindset and the ability to take direction from nursing staff
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
