Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care to assigned patients
• Assess and document patient conditions accurately and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record
• Adhere to infection control practices and facility safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure as listed (RN|LPN)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• Comfortable working a 12+ hour day shift and adapting to facility processes
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) appropriate to RN or LPN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and safe documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Effective communication, time management, and prioritization
