Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse, delivering safe and effective treatments
- Administer medications and document responses accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns to RNs or providers as needed
- Perform skilled nursing procedures and maintain clear, timely charting
- Support patients and families with education, comfort measures, and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN licensure (LPN is primary for this posting; RN candidates may also apply)
- Valid BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Prior experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings is a plus
- Ability to work overnight/extended shifts and adapt to travel assignment schedules
- Reliable, professional, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Medication administration competence and safety focus
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
- Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
