Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a medical-surgical unit
• Assess patient condition, implement care plans, and monitor responses
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress clearly and promptly
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge needs
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and escalate when needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (RN preferred)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Clinical experience in acute care settings is a plus
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred
• Practical nurses: accredited LPN/VN program completion required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and IV therapy familiarity
• Proficient documentation and electronic medical record use
• Effective teamwork, time management, and prioritization
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient education skills
