Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow care plans
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
• Create a comforting environment and engage patients with kindness and patience

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (state-certified) - must be active and in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred; strong interpersonal skills are a must
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to work nights with a positive attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved nurse aide training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
• Ability to perform ADLs and safe patient handling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Attention to detail and infection prevention practices
