Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents as a licensed Nursing Assistant
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and document patients’ condition and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe, comfortable mealtimes and help with feeding as needed
• Practice infection control and maintain a clean, safe care environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to ensure individualized care plans are followed

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification — state valid for practice
• Comfortable working in long-term care or acute care settings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Basic life support (BLS) preferred or willing to obtain
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to high-quality patient care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient safety and infection prevention
• Ability to assist with ADLs and safe patient transfers
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication
• Ability to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
