Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention standards

Qualifications

• Current LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (NH) or eligible to obtain state certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Comfortable providing direct resident care and working as part of a collaborative team
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by the facility

Education

• Completion of state-approved LNA training program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in personal care and activities of daily living
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable documentation skills and attention to detail
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient-focused approach
