Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility safely
• Take and record vital signs, intake/output, and other routine observations
• Document patient status and care activities clearly and timely in the patient record
• Communicate changes in condition and concerns to nursing staff and supervisors
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe care environment
• Support a positive patient experience through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (NH or ability to obtain NH LNA)
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently as part of a care team
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar clinical setting preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of state-approved Nursing Assistant (LNA) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and patient mobility
• Ability to accurately take and record vital signs
• Basic patient observation and documentation skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Familiarity with infection control and safety standards
