Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assisted living care and support with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility while preserving dignity
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the clinical team
• Support safe transfers and positioning, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Document care delivered in a timely, clear, and professional manner
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to create a warm, person-centered environment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential; LNA or equivalent required
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain promptly
• Comfort working with diverse adult populations and demonstrating patience and respect
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Prior experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred but new grads welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program (LNA certification)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic nursing care and resident assistance with ADLs
• Comfortable taking vitals and observing/reporting resident changes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to support a collaborative care environment
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Compassionate bedside manner and attention to detail
