Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, mobility and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately
• Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document care and communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Support the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered care
• Help with transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury

Qualifications

• Current LNA license (VT or NH coverage indicated) in good standing
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Reliable, professional attitude with strong patient-focused communication
• Prior experience as an LNA or nursing assistant preferred but motivated new grads welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant program (or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside assistance skills
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Clear, timely documentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and follow care plans
• Compassionate approach to patient dignity and comfort
