Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across the continuum
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
• Document patient status and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about conditions, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license (New Mexico license preferred) — LPN candidates also considered based on facility class
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred depending on unit
• Current immunizations and background checks completed per facility requirements
• Previous acute care experience preferred; travel experience a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and critical thinking
• Medication administration and IV therapy fundamentals
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Care coordination and discharge planning
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and advocate for patients
