Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition with accuracy
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Communicate clearly and professionally with nurses and the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control best practices
• Document care and observations timely and legibly according to facility policy
• Assist in meal service and nutritional support while respecting resident preferences

Qualifications

• Current LNA certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant) in accordance with state requirements
• Ability to work overnight shifts and provide consistent, reliable coverage
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable with physical demands of the role including lifting and standing for shifts

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an approved LNA program and active LNA license

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in personal care and assistance with ADLs
• Able to take and record vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Good documentation practices and attention to detail
• Compassionate resident-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks on busy shifts
