Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately to help the care team monitor resident health
• Support mobility and safe transfers to reduce fall risk and improve comfort
• Communicate observations and changes in condition to nurses and supervisors promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document care activities in the resident record clearly and professionally

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with strong training are welcome
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
• Reliable, compassionate, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding
• Proficient at taking and recording vital signs and observing changes
• Strong infection control and hand hygiene practices
• Good documentation skills and ability to follow care plans
• Team player with solid communication and interpersonal skills
