Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (days as scheduled)

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe mobility and transfer techniques to protect residents and team members
- Document resident care accurately and timely in electronic or paper charts
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for each resident
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — must be active and in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and working directly with elderly or medically fragile residents
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
- Skill in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
- Ability to follow care plans and report clinical observations clearly
- Familiarity with safe resident handling and transfer procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
