Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and mobility, prioritizing patient comfort and fall prevention
• Assist nursing staff with treatments, specimen collection, and basic nursing tasks as directed
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Uphold infection control standards and contribute to a clean, safe care environment

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (state registry required) — ready to work in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain promptly
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/vaccinations
• Comfort working night shifts and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Basic charting and documentation skills (electronic or paper charting)
• Teamwork, time management, and compassionate bedside manner
