Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff to ensure timely care
• Support mealtime service and assist with feeding when needed, following care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting in patient records
• Help keep resident rooms and care areas safe, clean, and comfortable
• Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver person-centered care and promote residents' dignity

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania CNA preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility policy
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Compassionate bedside manner, strong communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with ADLs and resident mobility assistance
• Familiarity with infection control practices and basic safety procedures
• Comfortable with charting and following care plans
• Strong observational skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
• Good time management and the ability to work reliably on scheduled shifts
