Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients during the night shift
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and safe discharge
• Respond to emergent situations calmly and efficiently, escalating when necessary
• Maintain accurate charting and handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (acceptable per assignment)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
• Valid nursing license in the practicing state or ability to obtain necessary state licensure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach
• Previous acute care or long-term care experience preferred

Education

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN, ASN, or diploma for LPN)
• BSN preferred when applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV/infusion familiarity
• Proficient with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Patient education, safety protocols, and infection control best practices
