Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adults on the Behavioral Health Unit during overnight hours
• Perform patient assessments, monitor mental health status, and implement nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support patient safety, stabilization, and discharge planning
• Complete required Prime Core Competencies and Prime Skills Checklist to demonstrate clinical proficiency
• Maintain compliance with immunizations, fit testing, drug screening, and other onboarding requirements

Qualifications

• Active RN license (must pass license verification)
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, NRP as determined by the unit
• Ability to meet minimum compliance requirements by August 10, 2025 and complete full compliance within two weeks of offer acceptance
• Must be available to work on August 12, 2025 to qualify for the assignment
• Willingness to commit to the full 26-week per diem assignment and meet ongoing credentialing requirements

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with behavioral health nursing practices and overnight patient management
• Familiarity with license verification processes and Nursys
• Knowledge of immunization requirements (COVID, flu, MMR, varicella, Tdap) and ability to complete declination forms if applicable
• Comfort with fit testing, 10-panel drug screening, TB testing, and other occupational health requirements
• Strong documentation skills and ability to complete Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist
