Shift Type: 4x10 Day schedule, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (specific days vary); contract includes a weekend night shift requirement (weekend night coverage)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies across a wide range of exams including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and MSK
- Prepare and/or administer contrast media safely and follow radiation safety protocols
- Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when needed for contrast administration
- Operate and optimize GE (and other vendor) CT equipment to deliver diagnostic images
- Use PACS and Epic for accurate image management and charting
- Apply advanced post-processing skills including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurements
- Assist with special procedures such as biopsies, CT arthrography, myelography, PET CT, coronary and vascular CTA when required
- Maintain isolation precautions and contribute to a safe environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in ED, ICU, outpatient and acute care settings to support patient care
Qualifications
- ARRT CT or ARRT(R) certification preferred
- State Radiologic Technologist licensure required (or ability to obtain state license)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience
- Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
- Proficiency with Epic charting strongly preferred
- Comfort working in acute care, ED, ICU and trauma environments
- Ability to perform contrast preparation/administration and basic vascular access
Education
- ARRT certification (CT or R) and State radiologic technologist license
- BLS certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Computed Tomography (CT) imaging techniques and protocols
- Radiation safety principles and best practices
- Preparation and administration of contrast media
- Peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
- PACS image retrieval and management
- 3D rendering, maximum intensity projection, surface shading and volume rendering
- Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurements
- Special procedure support including biopsies, myelography, PET CT and CT arthrography
- Familiarity with vendors: GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba
- Epic charting and clinical documentation
