Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
- Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with colleagues
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
- Support residents' emotional needs and encourage independence whenever possible
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care that makes a difference
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Comfortable working the listed day shift hours (6:30 AM - 6:45 PM)
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with attention to detail
- Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient hygiene and mobility assistance
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
- Accurate charting and documentation
- Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
