Location: Gettysburg, PA

Shift Type: Night shift, days vary, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Help with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with residents and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Valid authorization to work in Pennsylvania and familiarity with state CNA requirements
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Comfortable and experienced working night shifts
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED required; CNA training program completion required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in personal care and assistance with ADLs
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic or paper health records
Teamwork, time management, and resident-centered communication
