Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout your night shift, making every interaction count
- Perform thorough assessments, monitor clinical status, and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to plan
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to ensure coordinated care
- Respond to patient changes and emergencies with calm, professional action
- Provide clear patient and family education to support recovery and transitions
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license (Maryland) required
- Demonstrated clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications may be preferred
- Comfortable working night shifts and communicating across multidisciplinary teams
- Prior acute care or facility experience preferred, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic essential
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Effective verbal and written communication with patients and team members
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and accurate charting
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy night shifts
