Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient condition and promptly escalate changes to the care team
• Document care, interventions and patient responses clearly and professionally

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (state license required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS as appropriate to unit preferred
• Prior acute care or med-surg experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work the posted day shift hours and adapt to unit needs

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Sound knowledge of nursing assessment and clinical documentation
• Skilled in medication administration and basic IV care
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient assignments
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting workflows
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused approach
