Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document patient status, noting changes and communicating with the team
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Assist with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Contribute to a positive, resident-centered environment through professional communication
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — required
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM shift and responding to resident needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; compassion and reliability are a must
Education
- LPN certificate or diploma from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical nursing skills
- Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Documentation in electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Clear communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
