Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
Support meal times and ensure residents receive proper nourishment
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with the care team
Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active CNA certification in Maine or ability to obtain prior to start
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable performing basic patient care tasks and taking vital signs
Able to pass background check and meet facility health/immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring residents
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Good documentation and communication skills with clinical teams
Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
