Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on basic care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to maintain comfort and prevent injury
Support bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting needs while preserving dignity
Document care accurately and clearly in the patient record
Work collaboratively with nurses and other care team members to deliver excellent patient experiences
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (CNA) required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused with strong communication skills
Ability to pass required background checks and facility health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of direct patient care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection prevention principles and proper PPE use
Clear documentation and effective communication with the care team
Time management and multitasking in a fast-paced clinical setting
