Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered med/surg nursing care during night shifts
• Assess, monitor and document patient status and trends to ensure safe outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record
• Educate patients and families with compassion and clarity about care plans
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Model professional, respectful interpersonal interactions with patients, families and staff

Qualifications

• Current California RN license (required)
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (Associate or Bachelor acceptable)
• BLS certification (required)
• Med/Surg experience is a must
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work nights (Thu–Sat)

Education

• Nursing degree from an accredited school (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Med/Surg patient care and assessment
• Medication administration and documentation
• Basic computer and EMR navigation
• BLS and emergency response principles
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Interpersonal skills for conflict resolution and teamwork
