Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy safely and accurately, following established protocols
• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after infusion therapies to ensure optimal outcomes
• Recognize and respond promptly to infusion reactions and other clinical changes
• Document patient care clearly and thoroughly in the electronic health record (EPIC preferred)
• Provide compassionate patient and family education about treatment plans, side-effect management, and follow-up
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient experience
• Maintain adherence to oncology standards, infection control, and medication safety practices

Qualifications

• Oncology RN experience (clinic/hospital infusion) — at least 1 year of oncology experience preferred
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification — required
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) — preferred
• EPIC experience — preferred
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) credentials and ability to practice per state requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Infusion nursing and safe chemotherapy/biotherapy administration
• Patient assessment and triage in an oncology setting
• Management of infusion reactions and emergency response
• Strong clinical documentation and charting (EPIC experience a plus)
• Excellent communication, patient education, and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with oncology care standards and safety protocols
