Shift Type: Three 12-hour day shifts per week (day shift), includes every other weekend; night shift coverage is also listed so schedule may include nights (day and night coverage indicated)

Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric Med/Surg patients
- Assess, plan and implement individualized patient care and monitor outcomes
- Collaborate closely with the Hospitalist physician and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Administer medications and treatments safely, following protocols and standards
- Document patient status, interventions and progress accurately and timely
- Act independently when needed and escalate concerns to the care team promptly
- Support patient and family education to promote recovery and safe discharge
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license (state licensure required)
- ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in Med/Surg
- Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent clinical judgment
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and covering every other weekend
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong Med/Surg clinical knowledge and patient assessment skills
- Proven ability to manage acute and chronic conditions for adults and children
- Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy and documentation
- Effective communication and teamwork with physicians and nursing colleagues
- Critical thinking, prioritization and time management in a fast-paced setting
- Adaptability to a modern, rural hospital environment
