Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images while following established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through clear communication, screening, and appropriate monitoring
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to optimize imaging protocols and support diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging records, ensuring images are properly labeled and archived
• Perform routine QC checks and basic maintenance, escalating equipment issues as needed
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and local regulatory standards at all times

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification or AMRIT certification required
• Active Washington Radiology Technologist license required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Comfortable working Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM schedule
• Strong patient care skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven MRI imaging skills and familiarity with common MRI protocols
• Solid understanding of patient safety, screening, and MRI contraindications
• Ability to troubleshoot image quality issues and perform basic equipment QC
• Comfort with PACS/DICOM workflows and accurate image documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment
