Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead nursing activities across the facility to ensure high-quality resident care
• Assess residents’ conditions and coordinate individualized care plans with the care team
• Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering best practices and strong teamwork
• Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain compliance and continuous improvement
• Document care accurately and communicate updates to residents, families, and providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or ability to obtain state license promptly
• Experience in long-term care or nursing supervision (leadership experience a plus)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
• Comfort supervising staff and supporting quality assurance initiatives

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and clinical assessment in long-term care settings
• Quality assurance and compliance with regulatory standards
• Care planning, documentation, and effective clinical communication
• Leadership and staff coaching for positive team performance
• Medication administration and safety practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and charting
